Where can I find an update for Yahoo! Music Engine Suite to make it compatible with Windows Vista?
I bought a Creative ZEN mp3 player yesterday, and when installing its software, it asked if I wanted to try the Yahoo music thing for 30 days for free. I said sure, and tried to install that too, but my computer said that there are ‘compatability issues,’ and that I ought to check Yahoo music for updates. So I go to the Yahoo music site, and there’s nothing there, so i clicked on help, and found my way to the update area, but there was nothing there that seemed to match what I was looking for. So then I copied and pasted the wording my computer used to inform me of the problem into the question box yahoo has on the side. (My question looked like this: compatibility issue between Windows Vista and Yahoo! Music Engine Suite.) The results were that the site thought that I was asking about a username, and that I ought to use their directory.
So, does any one know if there is an update, and if so, where is it, and what’s it called? Thanks!
Hi, had the same problem. Turns out the Zen Yahoo software is outdated and has been upgraded to the Yahoo Music Jukebox to solve the issue of compatibility. Uninstall the Yahoo software that downloaded the music engine and reinstall with Yahoo music jukebox (the free version works) from Yahoo.
