mp3 encoder?
I have Windows Media player (I don’t know which one) but it looks similar to the one on Vista, and I need an mp3 encoder because it won’t let me rip files from my cd in mp3 format?
p.s. preferably a free download
WIndows media player 10 and 11 both can do MP3. 9 cant.
9 and 10 are light blue and silver and 11 looks like Vista.

it uses the Lame encoder which is better in sound quality than the default WMP encoder.
