WINDOWS VISTA DVD MAKER – SLOOOOOOOOWWWW!?
My DVD MAKER is super super slow…
My computer is pretty fast… thats not the problem.
32bit vista premium,
2gb ram,
250gb HDD,
Intel Core 2 Duo 2ghz (T5800),
Disc drive burns audio MP3 CD’s in about 2-5 minutes
Anyways:
Im burning a 700mb, 2:00:37 long .avi file
Nothing extra is running on my computer (other than right now to write this),
It’s been encoding for a close to 4 hours and its only at 83%
It should take 5 hours to burn a DVD…
I have K-Lite codec pack installed so maybe thats a reason… idk…???
but as far as i know… thats only for playing video files, not burning them so unlikely i guess.
And i dont want to use other software so please dont suggest that…
i want to know why this is so darn slow and how to fix it.
