Cassette’s to CD / MP3 recorder?
Has anyone heard of the ion TAPE2PC recorder? I saw it in a catalog and wasn’t sure if it was a legit expense. it’s a USB cassette deck and comes with audacity and is said to take them directly into iTunes. I have some recordings of my deceased family members telling their immigration stories and such and just don’t want to loose them!

Yes and no….
It is a legit piece of kit, but Audacity is totally free software so there is no need to part with a load of money. If you have a standard tape deck, you can do the transfer without any clever gadgets, you only need a lead which goes into your PC soundcard.
