Upgrading Firmware on An MP3 player the company that makes it hasn’t even heard of?
I have the Sylvania SMPK8854B MP3 player. The manual gives instructions on how to upgrade the firmware. I couldn’t figure it out so I checked Sylvania’s website and they don’t even list MP3 players as something that they make. So my question is, has anyone heard of this MP3, and If so can you tell me how to update it?
Sylvania is a minor company of the larger Curtis International. Curtis International, in turn, actually has the product listed on their site.
I admit, though, that after extensive searching… there are not current updates released, and I doubt that there will be for that model. I own one, personally, and I would love a firmware upgrade as well.
