Torrent music cd turned out to be one large mp3 file instead of multiple smaller mp3 files?
Hi,
I’ve just finished downloading a torrent of a certain music album. The torrent downloaded successfully but instead of receiving a dozen mp3 files I only received one large mp3 file with all the songs embedded in it.
Along with the large mp3 file two additional smaller files were downloaded:
- sfv file (1kb in size)
- m3u file (44 bytes in size)
What can i do to burn these songs onto a CD with each track properly seperated WITHOUT having to split it manually using sound editing software?
There’s nothing you can do if you don’t want to use a software to separate them.
I don’t know what the sfv file is, but the m3u file is a play list made up of multiple audio or video files. So, to use it, you’d have to have more than one audio or video file.
Just in case you change your mind about using a software, you can use “Audio Grabber” to split your songs apart. You can get it free from http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net
