Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood or Alpine?
I’ve to opt for a car stereo head unit out of Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood and Alpine…. I want to get best Clarity, Bass and Treble. I want basic head unit that is capable of playing MP3 CD songs and facilitates USB and AUX. Please suggest what brand head unit should I go for?
Also regarding speakers, I want to go for rear 6*9 multielement speakers with 100 RMS and in front I want to have component speakers with 3-40 RMS. Will such installation need amplifier?
Please suggest what brand speakers should be used with what brand head unit for best output. I have come to know that JBL and Blaupunkt produce best clarity and bass. But few people have told me that Head unit and speakers should be of same brand for best output…..
What about Alpine/Pioneer/Kenwood Head Unit + JBL/Blaupunkt Speakers?

as far as head units go there all pretty comparible. i’d stear clear of sony though, as there mostly junk. personally i’d get a Pioneer Premier head unit. In my opinion there the best, and easiest to use. kenwood/kenwood excelon used to be really good, but there new decks have a very complicated set up.
if you want 6x9s and either 5.25″ or 6.5″ comps, then its a good idea to buy an amp. the 6x9s dont really need a amp, i mean you can amp them if you want, but its not a must. the comps however are built to be amped. its pointless to buy comps if you dont amp them. no matter what head unit you get.
as far as speaker brands go i dont really know what they offer in india. so i’m going ot list a few brands and see if you can find any of them

all of these brands are excellent sound quality brands. and dont worry about matching the brand of your head unit to the brand of your speaker. you dont have to do that.
