Which MP3 Player? Sony NWZA828KB 8GB or iPod Nano 8GB?
I want to buy a new mp3 player and was looking at the 2 above. Can you recemmend one to me please or an alternative if you think it would be better. Thanks for your help.
The problem that I see with both products is that they’re both a tad selfish as far as the consumer goes.
We all know about I-tunes and it’s limitations. However, having owned a Sony MP3 player, this can also be said of Sony, with their prediliction for AAC sound file formats, hence giving you yet another set of conversion software to work with.
I also read that the Sony Connect music service, Sony’s I-tunes equivalent, is to be discontinued in Europe.
If you can afford it splash a little extra and go for the Archos 605 players. Not only are these bad boys wifi enabled and web friendly, but the design is fantastic (in a French kind of way !!) and you get the added bonus of touch screen, dvd quality playback and the ability to function as a portable hard drive.
The 30 gig version is currently retailing at about £ 199. I bought the DVR station as well, which enables me to hook it up to my sky box and record directly from my cable connection as well !!
