The Sony Ericsson W890i is the very latest addition to the very, very popular “Walkman” music range of mobile phones and has only just been released onto the UK market.
We tested and played with it the day it became available & were very impressed with not only the technical specification but also the aesthetics and weight/dimension aspect too. As Sony Ericsson state “it’s as thin as a CD case” & they’re not wrong too !

One click starts the Walkman music player. Now you can play, rewind, fast forward, equalise, shuffle tracks and create playlists – just like in any other digital music player. MegaBass, PlayNow, TrackID and SensMe – a new feature with the Sony Ericsson Walkman players that lets you compose play lists according to mood or genre – How cool is that ?
Getting started for a full music experience is super quick and easy. Included in the box comes a 2Gb memory stick micro,. USB cable, a stereo portable handsfree and PC software. You can transfer tracks straight from a music CD to your mobile phone – just drag and drop. Disc2Phone CD-ripping software lets you fill your phone with your favourite songs, no fuss & very, very quick to do.
