Can I ever recover my files?
Okay here is what I did.I bought a ScanDIsk 8GB micro. Moved my files from my hard drive to this disk. But I did not format it first. Now I am trying to put the files back on my hard drive and it keeps asking to format the disk first and I cant see my files? Help can I still recover them fro hard drive somehow?
Actually no. If the drive wasn’t previously formatted then it means that files cannot be placed to it. Are you sure that it wasn’t formatted? If you were able to access files on it after moving them onto it then the device was already formatted.
Try to connect this device to another PC. If you’ll get the same Format option then you can be sure that all that date is lost.
