MP3 related, 30-pin connectors are they the same??
I have a Sandisk Sansa e280R MP3 player, aka the Nano Killer. I was looking for a car charger at local dept. stores, but all they had were iPod chargers. But iPod uses a 30-pin docking connector, as does the Sansa, so my question is this:
Are chargers compatible if they are 30-pin? Seems like they would be. And if they are then that would suggest that I could use any 30-pin docking devices that are for iPods, i.e. external speakers, clock radios, AC chargers, etc…
Does anyone with a technical background know for sure?
It should but be careful of the voltage. too much or too little power can short it out. I’m not a professional but this is what I know.
