How do I convince my mom to buy me an MP3 Player?
I want to get a Sandisk Sansa 2gb Clip from Best Buy, since it’s $59.99 there and it comes with free PHILIPS earbuds (that supposedly cost $13.49). The thing is I just won a $10 Best Buy gift card from my school (it says that it never expires) and today’s the last day for this ‘special offer’. I also found this coupon on slickdeals.net http://a.slickdeals.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=75029&d=1201480279 which i’m pretty sure I can use. She thinks it’ll mess up my ears, but i’m not the turn up the volume so loud that people around you can hear it person. I like it at a normal voulme. I just got it about 30 minutes ago!!!!! I don’t how I did it (i think i annoyed her too much but yay!!) thanks everyone! I used almost all of your ideas.
1. You could try to compromise with her. Take away something you like for the Mp3.
2. Tell her that you will listen to it for only 10 minutes at a time. That would protect you from damaged ears. And tell her “If I listen anymore then that you can take it away and return it”
3. Tell her you will pay a portion with your gift-card.
4. Say “all my friends have it” make her feel guilty by putting your head down. sniffing lol
~ If that doesn’t work I don’t know what will or just get a job as a paper boy/girl or work at Shaw’s because you can work at Shaw’s at age 13.
