My Samsung YP-U1 mp3 player keeps crashing my toshiba A60 laptop?
I’ve had this problem since I got the mp3 player. I can sometimes copy music files to it from my laptop but most of the times it starts and then hangs for a while before throwing up and error message, something to do with an I/O error. Most of the time tho, i plug it in and after a while the whole machine hangs.
Both devices are USB 2.0 so I don’t think thats the problem.
I can copy files to and from a usb flash drive and the mp3 player works fine when plugged into my desktop machine at work so it looks like some sort of conflict between it and the laptop?
Have tried running the driver cd that came with it to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?
#1, I’m bang up to date with XP so sp2 isn’t the problem. How would I sort out an updated driver for usb 2.0?
im not sure .. could be a usb2.0 driver issue .. if ur not running sp2 maybe try upgrading ..
