Is it legal to rip the audio stream from rhapsody?
I downloaded rhapsody (I’m not a subscriber) which allows me 25 free full song plays a month. Can I use software (I use audacity) to rip the stream and convert it into an mp3? I only use it for personal use.
I was wondering how legal that was. I know its legal with online radio stations but I’m not sure if the same rules apply to rhapsody.

Of course its illegal (at least if your in the USA), but then its very discreet and nobody will know, its like using RealPlayer to download music videos off YouTube, very discreet. Although you just shared this info with the world. And in the United States downloading songs for “personal use” is illegal. In Canada it isn’t though =D, we can download it directly off Frostwire or Limewire.
