MP3 player recommendations?
I had a Rio – not enough memory.
I had a iPod Touch 8GB – hated it – kept crashing – hard to use in the car.
Now I want something else. But what?
I want it solely for the car (WRX – stick). I need at least 4GB I figure.
I don’t need video or radio. I would like an easy to read screen with real buttons so I can find and change songs while driving. I prefer not too tiny, I have big hands so fumbling around with something the size of a wrist watch while driving can be a challenge.
Brand doesn’t matter.
Price doesn’t matter.
Any ideas?
Let me rephrase my take on the iPods. Aside from crashing twice in one week the device was pretty sweet. iTunes on the other hand is a bloated, invasive, ad tool that absolutely will not run on Windows 2000. Because of that, I don’t want anything that requires iTunes or any software in order to load files or charge the battery.
I would definetly recommend a sony walkman mp3 player. They are relatively cheap, mine was a little over 100 and they work great. It is hooked up to my cd/dvd player in my manual sebring and it works great. I can change songs when i want and it is quick and easy. Go to your local walmart and check it out. Best buy probly has one too, but they will charge more. Good luck.
