Reducing Bitrate…?
i have just gotten sound forge 8 and i just want it to make my mp3′s smaller how do i do this???and wat else can i do with this program…??? THANK YOU
Well as my answer to ur earlier question on soundforge just go thru the website and follow the steps they have mentioned there also if u want help lookup the help topic they have in the software. Basically soundforge allows u to edit sounds or create new sounds, record stuff and then edit it. U can cut an mp3 into as many parts as u wish and then combine whichever part u want and make a single mp3 files out of the cut parts. so in a way u can combine as many different mp3 and make ur own music lol if u want to become a DJ it’s handy tool lol.
As for the file size well while saving ur file u need to choose the right extention and also the bitrate low bitrate means low quality and less file size , high bitrate means huge file size but there are files now which have a variable bitrate and such files are very very good so when i download any music file i see to it that the bitrate is variable or else more then 128Kbits also the channel is important as in mono , stereo, etc. wat we get are songs in stereo format , joint stereo, mono stereo, etc.
Just do some research and develop some new stuff and keep checking the file size and then use whichever u think sounds best and can fit in ur mobile or any other electronic accessory.
