Top MP3 Player Q’s!!?
Hey guys, I’ve finally decided to purchase a portable MP3 player as opposed to always burning things to CD. With that in mind, besides the iPOD, what brand and model of MP3 player would you recommend?

It’s got 1 gb storage capacity with included MicroSD memory card slot for upgrading your memory, a digital voice recorder with built in mic, and a colorscreen as well. I’m trying to see what else is out there and would love to know what you guys have worked with. Thanks!
I really wish that you would be willing to save up a bit more money to get a product that will satisfy you. There are many options. After hours of reviewing the review sites like CNET and looking at articles after articles of reviews in my own search for an MP3 player, I have found many that satisfy.
For the budget, you may consider:
Creative zen plus – Really great reviews and solid sound quality. It may look a bit like a toy, but it really gets the job done and it isn’t like the nameless RCA from Wal-mart.
Creative zen stone – A really small device that came out. It’s pretty neat, kind of like the Ipod Shuffle (2nd gen) except it’s cheaper.
If you’re willing to spend a bit more, I would recommend these:
Any of the Sony Video Walkmans. They are pretty cheap for their range, but they have excellent battery life, really good sound quality, and great videos. Batter life is about over 30 hours of audio and a claimed 8-9 hours of video. A 2 gig can cost about $90 on sale now.
Also, you may consider getting the samsung t10. It’s a really nice player. For 4 gig, you can get a plethora of features like audio, video playback, fm tuner, fm/voice recording, great battery life, and bluetooth wireless capability.
I also recommend that you get a quality set of headphones for optimum music experience. I mean, $20-$50 can really make a difference in your music experience, which can last at least 1-2 years.
