What’s the best reasonably priced mp3 player with a normal sized SD (not micro-, not mini-) expansion slot?
I’ve seen a bunch of no name brands like ones with little or no memory and then there’s the Sandisk Sansa e100 series, but if you look on eBay there’s an aweful lot of them for sale, but they are broken (usually broken screen or something like that). I think RCA also makes one, but don’t have much info. I saw a Coby at Home Depot, not much info available on its features.
Would like to have features like powered by AAA or AA battery (I prefer that to a non-standard built-in lithium battery), sd slot, random/shuffle play, play at 2x, 3x or higher speed, lyrics playback, FM tuner. Wouldn’t mind paying more if it played video, too. Voice recording not necessary.
I have a POS Centon that does the fast playback and lyrics thing, but it is busted (hold button is stuck, making it useless). I also have a Sansa m230, but no sd slot and doesn’t do shuffle play or lyrics or fast playback.
I use an Emprex. It a generic brand player, very basic and very cheap. Doesnt have even a third of the features you are looking but simplistic.
