How do I format RCA Lyra RD1028a to NTFS?
My RCA Lyra is formatted for FAT, but my computer is formatted NTFS. When I format the SD memory card as FAT, I can only put 500 mb on my 1 GB card, but when it is formatted NTFS I can put a gig on it.
However, when the card is NTFS format, the MP3 player doesn’t recognize it.
Is there a way to change the format of my MP3 player to NTFS without messing it up? I’m afraid if I just plug it to the computer, right click and format it will wipe out some needed files on the MP3 player and it won’t work.

OK, I figured out that if I format the card for FAT32 it will work with the player and allow me to load the card to capacity through the reader.
