portable hard drive and dvd player?
Hi, i have bought a dvd player with a usb port on it. In the item description it says you can watch photos, movies from memory sticks, mp3 players and portable hard disks. Does this mean if i bought an 80/120gb portable hard drive i can put loads of movies on it and watch them? Or is there a size restriction, e.g up to 5gb hard drives? Also anyone know if i can plug in my 500gb external hard drive if i plug in the power lead to it aswell?

As long as the files you store on the external hard drive are in a compatible format (eg: is your DVD player DivX compatible?) you should be able to play them through your machine. As far as I know, there’s no restriction on external storage, so your 500GB hard drive should connect fine, but you should check the instructions just in case.
