DVD PLAYER Phillips DVP532k can it read avi and dvix videos??
Hi, i have a Phillips dvd player DVP532k model, i bought it about 3 years ago and the problem is that it can read vcds, dvds and multisession discs with mpgs, jpgs, or mp3 BUT it doesn’t read avi or divx files like other dvd players. Since dvd lens are the same i guess difference is just in the software; sooo my question is: is it possible to update the software so it can read new video formats? might it read real media or windows media files too? Thanx
no, avi is media container, it can include more kinds of videos format and audios format, no DVD player can play all avi videos.
I think the better choice is a software that you can use to create standard video DVD, you can try RZ DVD Creator, i have used it, it can create standard video DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL,DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc.
It can auto fit the videos size, and offer the better quality.
It offer the multi video resize mode, such as stretch, or keep aspect ratio.
It can burn multi videos to one DVD with dvd menu.
Work well on my computer, easy to use, inexpensive, i like it.
