How do i record from a mixer to an mp3 file preferable on my laptop. ?
I have cd decks, and my mixer is a ‘Numark DM950′. I think i need a new mixer, but which one and what cables/ equipment do i need as I would like them to be good recordings.

I believe you can rig up an input to an 8th inch plug from a standard mixer output and use software such as Audacity to record the file. I’m not sure of the quality you would get but I believe it would work.
