eastern european folk music?
Hoping I can find some Eastern European folk music (Balkan, from the former area of Yugoslavia, even Middle Eastern) that is in 5/4 meter. Trying to find music for a dance in 5, but that is authentic. I would prefer that it be online – streamed mp3 would be the best format. Titles of pieces in 5 would be helpful too. Can anyone help?
Balkan Beat Box does some great stuff. I think you can find samples, including one free download, at payplay.fm. If not, check playlist.com. And there’s a music blog that has their stuff plus lots and lots of albums to download, especially the categories you requested:
