Nintendo DS mp3 player versus Nintendo DSi.?
does anyone know anything about the functionality of the DSi media centre, the capacity of the SD card, the format the mp3s need to be in
also, i am aware there is an MP3 add-on for the DS lite but there is surprisingly little information available on it.
is the DS likely to be a useful MP3 player? also, could it handle an mp4?
Most people get an R4 card, my research told me that the DS One Supercard is better, that is what I got (from dealextreme.com). It can take an 8 gig sdhc card, which is plenty of space for movies, games, and mp3′s. I have all of those on mine. The movies files must be .dpg, and if you download the Moonshell media player, it is better than trying to run movies with the OS. I also have SNES, NES, and Genesis emulators on there with a bunch of games. These cards will not work in a DSi. If you want help getting any of the hardware or software, email me.
