In sound input, “Stereo/wav mix” is not an option for any record programs!!!?
Hello,
I have been attempting to record audio off of Myspace and have consulted a number of websites as well as downloaded a vast number of MP3/wav/stream/etc. recorders (including but not limited to Audacity, Blaze Pro, NCH, and have even tried Windows Movie Maker). The problem is continually that nothing is being recorded, as if there was nothing playing at all, when, in reality, I am playing it through the Myspace Soundplayer. After attempting to diagnose the problem, the consistent issue I am seeing is that I cannot select an audio source at all. Meaning that in those lovely scroll down menus, the only option reads as “Microphone(SigmaTel High Def…) or the menu is dehighlighted altogether and nothing may be selected at all. Suffice to say I haven’t the foggiest what on earth is the problem and would be grateful for any assistance.

I’ve had good results using the trial version.
You also have to set your computer’s Record Sound settings to Record to Stereo/wav mix. You have to adjust the volume level coming out of your computer speakers using the computer sound controls. Adjust the Record sound function using the Polderbits settings too. It takes some playing with.
You may also have to make sound adjustments using your soundcard’s software.
