i have MP3′s on my computer, how do I play them on my home stereo?
i have a cable with RCA jacks, one goes into the computer, ……where do the white & red/left right ones go?
heres what the back of my receiver looks like……if you scroll down just a bit theres a pic of the back, just zoom to see the labels of the ports.

its a laptop, so what id like to do is plug in a cable and just leave it there in the stereo. when i want to play them, i’ll just plop the laptop on top and plug it in and play them. I guess I just use the software on the computer to play them and it comes out of the speakers on the stereo?…..Is that how it works?
you need a cable that will connect a phone plug to a red and white RCA plug…

you can then connect the RCA ends to any of the audio inputs.. such as
CD
MD – in/play
DVR – in
DTV/CBL
DVD
the phone plug connects to the speaker output, or headphone output of your PC
then just set the input of the receiver yo whatever input you connected the cable to ..
