sony micro hi fi component system won’t play songs of my mp3 player?
I just bought a new hi-fi system called the “Sony micro hi fi component system”. One feature is that it should be able to play songs off of an MP3 player but when I connect it it will not play the songs. Since I am not using an ipod I can’t use the docking station but I should be able to connect it via a headphone jack cable. The MP3 player that i am using is the zune HD 32 gigabyte. Help please!

I think you have connected it wrong. As far as i understood u have one MP3 player which u connected with your Hi Fi. You can take line out from the MP3′s headphone socket and plug it in to HI Fi’s line in. But i have no idea what type of cables you are using and it is the correct one.
better go through the manuel.
