Why won’t my computer load files to my memory card?
I have a SanDisk Transflash SD Adapter and a 512MB SanDisk MicroSD memory card. The adapter connects to the computer fine but when I try to load files (i.e.: Mp3′s, etc.) the computer says “Cannot copy ‘file name’. The device is not ready.” I don’t have the adapter on lock or anything. Why won’t the card work? Please help. It works fine with the 32MB card. The 1GB card doesn’t work either. Why won’t they work? I’ve tried formatting and everything. Please help.
It might be that the memory cards are too big for your adapter to handle. Another thing that i hav had a probelm with in the past that may be the case here is that the file name contains incorrect characters. like sometimes you cant use numbers or symbols in the name or it wont load correctly for some reason. thats all that I can think of.
