Importing an .AVI File Into Premiere CS3 But No Audio?
I am trying to import an .avi file into premiere cs3, but when I put it on the editing track, there’s no audio. The .avi file was originally an mpeg 2 file, until I had it converted with these specs:
Video Codec: None (Uncompressed)
Frame Size: 1280 by 720
Audio Codec: PCM
Channels: Stereo
Sample Size: 16 Bit
Sample Rate: 44100 Hz
Bitrate: 1411kbps
Does anyone have any suggestions?
NOTE: other codecs I’ve tried: Microsoft ADPCM, MP3 and MP2
go to www.download.com and download this converter [any video converter] and convert your vid to another format, it converts to many and it’s free and easy to use. the conversion fron vid to audio with this program does not work, [just added] but it’s excellent to convert from one video format to the next. you will have both video and audio upon conversion, just try each format ’till you hit the right one.
