Why does my music get interrupted when I’m running other programs?
This problem only occurs when something on the internet is loading or moving like a graphic advertisement. If I’m running another program say for instance a game the music that’s currently playing from my computer begins to skip like a scratched CD. This is especially an issue now that I’ve downloaded a game engine(M.U.G.E.N.) that allows users to add MP3 files onto the game so that they play as background music, but the music skips when I’m playing the game. Is there anyway I can fix this problem?
MP3s are basically streamed from your hard drive as you are playing them. Anything that accesses the drive a lot will cause the music to sound like it is skipping.
This can be resolved by making sure your drives are defragged. You can also upgrade or free up your memory so that the game can store more information and doesn’t have to go to the hard drive as much.
