Who really listens to the regular radio anymore?
with more people using mp3 players and crap being played in 30 song rotations if your lucky. who actually listens to the songs they swear are hot and should be played at least 5 times an hour?
they are not but hottest songs are on a roughly 1 1/2- 2 hour rotation at most stations between playing the same song over again.
Most with mp3 players will play the song even harder than that and will burn out on the song quicker (those listening to top 40 songs on mp3 players which many people actually do)
I still listen to terrestrial radio, but usually search out smaller town stations that usually have a wider variety than say a big city.
