Why can’t I burn a CD to play in my car or home CD player?
I download MP3 music and convert the files to WAV files. This should work… shouldn’t it? The CD player in my vehicle and at home will not recognize the CD to play the songs. I’ve tried everything! Should they be WAV files or WMA files for an older CD player to play them? Also, when converting the MP3 to WAV, I’m converting them to output as PCM, 48000 Hz, Stereo quality. Is this what’s wrong. I can bump the quality down lower for the WAV output. I just figured that the higher, the better. And that was set as the default with the converter that I use. PLEASE HELP!!!
The file format doesn’t matter. The disc format does. Audio CD is the only one that will play in any CD player. Poor quality blank discs can also cause problems; they may burn but not play or they may not burn at all. Sony discs are definitely worth the extra cost.
