I am working as windows admin in one of organization and I am required to put disk quota on file server through GPO and I have to restrict users for saving files with file extensions like *.mp3,*.mpg,*.wav etc can anybody help me how it can be done through group policy.

Ask you boss to put you onto a basic Active Directory Administration course (core MCSE) … you should not be asked to do things for which you have not been trained ….
Playing around with GPO’s is an invitation to disaster .. you must start by defining ‘Groups’ and deciding who goes into what group (for example, the Board of Directors may well have more ‘rights’ than, say, ‘Temporary Secretarial Staff’ ..)
