mp3 normalize batch

By admin

Can you recommend a good audio trimmer?

Looking for an audio trimmer that will batch trim MP3 files. I have ripped CDs (legally) from a supplier of Music to the radio industry. However these files are raw in the sence they don’t have silence at end of each file – there is a blip at the end of each file after the song fades out. Use a an audio playout system called OtsDJ – and would like to use automatic mode but this blip at end of each song is a nuiscance. Want to use a batch trimmer that will automatically trim this out and normalise the file. Used a trial one years ago but can not find it to purchase. Cheap and effective needed.

You can do this with Audacity. It’s free. My concern is that you will have to do each file one at a time. This could be quite time consuming.

Good luck.
