How can I run homebrew on my PSP Slim 3.60?
I have a 3.60 slim with 1 GB of memory. I have no other PSPs and no memory card reader. I’d like to use my PSP to run NES and SNES emulators, to listen to music in mp3 and wma, and to watch videos.
My understanding is that I can’t downgrade with the slim, but if I get a memory card with pandora’s battery, which isn’t really a battery, then I can run homebrew applications.
I was considering purchasing a modified memory stick, since I see some sites claiming to sell those. I THINK I don’t have the necessary materials to “make a pandora’s battery.” I also want a 4 or 8 GB memory stick anyway, since mine only has a gig.
Is purchasing the modified memory stick (aka a pandora’s battery) a good idea for me? If so, can you recommend any sites that won’t rip me off?
The info about PSP homebrew seems very technical and confusing to me. I really just want to be able to run things…
Well you’re only option is downgrading using a pandora battery (that’s what they’re for) Making a modified memory stick is easy enough but since you don’t have a memory card reader you might have to buy it. Though personally I purchased a $5 miniUSB cable to connect my psp to my computer
