Are there any sites similar to iTunes where I can buy tracks for a regular MP3 player?
Or can I use iTunes for a regular mp3 player? I have Creative Zen. I remember someone telling me that iTunes is STRICTLY for iPods & not compatible with regular mp3 players. I just wanted to confirm the truth. Also, Music Match ceases to exist, & they merged with Yahoo! Music Jukebox, & I don’t remember my Music Match password nor username, so I can’t get in. That’s why I wanna know if there are any other sites.
Wal-mart.com does have mp3′s for download and they are cheaper than I- tunes $.88 a song. I-tunes downloads are not in mp3 format and are incompatible with any type of mp3 player. I learned this the hard way after I downloaded an album and tried to stick it on my mp3 player which also happens to be my cell phone. The only reason why I bought it from I-tunes was because if you pre-ordered the album from them, you got a code for pre-sale concert tickets for the Smashing Pumpkins concert. The code that they gave me didn’t even work!!! If you really want to buy through I-tunes, you can always put your purchased music onto a CD and then rip the disc to your computer. It will put it into a wma format which is compatible with mp3 players, but the song titles won’t be there.
