Can you convert a 320 kbps mp3 to a 256 or lower mp3 within ITunes?
I have a bunch of 320 mp3′s in ITunes that I want to compress some more… can you do this within ITunes?
Ok i know that when you rip a cd you can go to edit then preferences and change the ripping format to mp3 and mess with the quality(kbps), but i dont know if you can lower it straight off of the computer. If you are wanting to save space on your computer or ipod, you can right click on a song that is on your library and select “convert selection to aac” or “convert selection to fit ipod”. that converts it into an aac, which is roughly/about a lil over half the size of an mp3 file and with same of better quality!
