.mp3 file doesn’t display right icon?
For some reason, my .mp3 files have the unrecognized windows file icon. I set the default player to iTunes, and it didn’t work. Also, it will still go to the default program if I double click it. The only problem is that it has the unrecognized filetype icon, instead of a music note icon. I am wondering how to fix this, thanks!
Right click on the icon
Then select “Open with”
From there click on “Select Program”
On the next screen choose the program you want to use to play your .mp3′s then MAKE SURE you check the “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file”
Then click on Okay
This will reset the association and correct all the other .mp3′s
