driver problems with Windows Vista – Insignia MP3 and other hardware?
Hi – for about 4 months now we have a new Compaq Desktop PC with Windows Vista, and it’s causing problems, problems, problems. The worst: even the installation of common devices fails, because the system can’t find the appropriate drivers (from the CD) and install them. Even when they are explicitly Vista-compatible. I’m sick and tired to talk to barely understandable TechHelp guys for hours – and the warranty and free service period has passed anyway …
HP and Microsoft, by the way, did not reply to my e-mails … nor did Insignia. I got an MP3 player for my husband and the PC simply does not recognize it. Don’t the Insignia Players work with Vista?
What can I do?
Revert back to XP
Increase MP3 Volume Without Buying a Hardware!!
