how can i make my external HDD like an MP3 player?
I recently bought a new surround sound system from LG that allows me to connect a usb device to it. I also have a hard drive which i put into an external enclosure. I tried to connect it and it does recognise something connected but then it says no data. Is there any software or something that will allow me to stream video or mp3’s off of the external hard drive to the surround sound. Maybe there is a linux os or something that will make the hard drive act like an mp3 player or something. Thanks a lot in advance.
There is this enclosure but i dont know if it will work directly through USB, but it works through the tv’s RCA connections.
