How do I get rid of mp3 album art?
I have windows media player and itunes is not an option. I downloaded a program that was suppose to help called The Godfather. I don’t know if I’m not using it right or not, but it looked like it took the album art off when it was on my computer.
When I put the music on my MVIX MV500R player and hooked it up to my TV it shows that the art is still on there under photos. This is very annoying. Are there any ideas out there?
Ok, there is a manual way to do this without having to get any software. First of all go to WMP> Tools> Options> Library Tab and uncheck “Retrieve additional information from the internet”. This stops WMP re-downloading the Art after you get rid of it.
Now, go to the folder where your music is and go to Tools> Folder Options> View. Uncheck “Hide operating system files”. Say yes to the warning. No in the folder with your music you will see alot of JPG files named AlbumArt{25r4-0dsfg} etc. Delete any that you don’t want and keep whatever you do.
