Do all iPods require that you load then with iTunes?
I believe that you can access the memory just like a flash drive to store files but do files have to be loaded with iTunes in order to play them?
I bought a cheap Coby Clip 1 GB MP3 player for $30 since it is simple, serves my purpose, and requires no software to load.
yes. ipods REQUIRE itunes to load music into it. you can copy the files onto their drive but you will not be able to play them.
