Hi everyone. İ am a big music lover and i have problems with conversion of my Cd’s collection in MP3 format
1. İ am using this programs JetAudio 6.2, MAGİX mp3 maker, Nero Express, Virtual DJ and TRAKTOR .İ ripped and converted all my CDs with JetAudio, but not all albumes was recognized by Nero or Magix or my DJ programs. Why ?
2. İ saw that are different MP3 formats (MP3, MP3PRO, MP3HİGH QUALİTY and so).Even FLAC is an MP3 format. İ want quality. Wich is the best format for a perfect audition?
3. How much 96kbs or 128kbs or 192kbs modes impruve music quality?

Well, you can be assured that the vanilla MP3 format will have the highest compatibility among players, software and hardware players alike. Secondly I don’t like JetAudio, I don’t know what Magix is or Virtual DJ though I can assume that Virtual DJ lets you mix together MP3s just like you would with a record (or a CD mixer). I like importing stuff with iTunes, just make sure you have it set to import as a MP3, the default is AAC.
I would say that the bare minimum is 128kbps but and here’s the catch, it is slightly less than CD quality, you won’t notice it on cheap headphones but on studio quality or high quality consumer models it will be readily apparent. If you want to keep “near CD” quality then stick with 192kpbs and you will have a hard time discerning that from a CD.
You mentioned FLAC which is a pretty odd-ball format and is not supported on many players. Ogg is another odd format and isn’t supported on many players either. The standard is MP3, stick with that (for maximum compatibility).
