Is it possible to roll back to Windows Media Player 10 in Windows Vista 32bit Home Premium?
I have WMP 11 which came preinstalled with vista home premium 32bit.
I need WMP 10 because my mp3 player is not fully functional without it. no album art or pictures can be viewed but more importantly I cannot upgrade firmware needed to resolve some issues with hang ups and such.
before purchasing my mp3 player I called the manufactures customer service and asked if any vista drivers were planned for the player I had in mind. I was naive to think that I would be given an honest answer & was told yes, so I bought the player. I have since rescanned the manufactures Q&A page and officially found out that they were in fact, NOT, planning any vista drivers for my player. I came across a hack, BUT, it will not work with home premium. I asked a simular ? earlier today and was told that in XP one can roll back to a previous version. CAN THIS BE DONE WITH VISTA?
i am trying to uninstall wmp11 too cause its really laggy when i play movies now.. cant do an update or rollback.. wont let me install v10 Or even reinstall 11…and cant uninstall it through remove programs microsoft fuccin sucks
