Youtube – Can Not Convert File?
I am trying to upload a 5 minute .avi file, but after I get done uploading it, it says conversion failed. Video settings:
Codec: x264
Audio Encoder: LAME MP3
Bitrate: 900kbps
Audio Bitrate: 192kbps
How do I fix this problem? I have tried both a flv converter, and re-encoding it with WMM, but the video looks unacceptable after that. It goes from perfect quality to terrible quality. I’ve never had any other problems with upload an AVI file to Youtube.

Hi, guys, I think this is format issue, the best quality video format for youtube is mp4(h.264 video codec, aac audio codec), or flv(h.263 video codec, mp3 audio codec) videos, so you need to use a right software to convert your failed avi videos to the right youtube mp4 or flv videos. I am using RZ Video Converter which can convert any videos or audios between different formats with good quality, such as convert avi videos to the right youtube mp4 or flv videos, etc. Then you can upload the converted videos to youtube.com.
