can anyone tell me how to convert m4p files to m4a or mp3 without downloading a software? ps. i have a mac?
please tell me there is a possible way to do that!…i really like listening to music on my phone but i cant listen the any of the good songs! grrr

Unfortunately, won’t be able to do this without some type of conversion software. On a good note, you may already have this software on your computer. Since both file types were developed by Apple, you should be able to convert them within iTunes (m4ps are protected files though, so you may have trouble with them).
To convert within iTunes, drag and drop the files into your library. Then, go to Edit > Preferences > General, and click on “Import Settings…”. In the “Import Using” drop-down menu, select the MP3 encoder. Then select your bitrate (I usually pick 160 kbps — between standard and high quality). Click OK and OK. Now, just highlight the song you want to convert, right click and select “Create MP3 Version.” When the conversion is complete, just drag the file from the playlist onto your desktop, or wherever you wish to use it.
