I Accidentally downloaded music using someone elses wirless network?
Hi, all
I accidentally accessed someone elses wireless network (neightbours probably), and I downloaded an mp3 using limewire.
this wireless network didnt have any protection and I dont know why my laptop switched from my own wireless network to someone elses, BUT have I broken the law and can I be traced or am I just being paranoid. I dont want to be reported for downloading mp3s using p2p.
So can I be traced.

it didn’t use to be illegal. about a year ago someone got taken to court over this and was found guilty but this was a case about someone that knowingly abused their network.you’ve done nothing intentionally wrong therefore you’ve got nothing to worry about.
