Does anyone know how I can download .mp3 files from…. ?
sites like imeem.com and seeqpod.com. There are some .mp3 files that are hard to find online, so I would like to know if there is a way I can download the .mp3 files from these sites directly without buying them. Does Firefox have a downloader I can use for that?
I recently answered a question like this from someone else. I worked out these steps that worked for me. Here it is for you. Hope it works as easily for you too.
imeem.com has changed it’s formats recently, so these instructions could be off a little.
(I just tested this procedure for seeqpod.com and it works there too)
I’ve used orbitdownloader.com before, at this moment orbitdownloader is being updated for imeem.com new format.
1) So, for now you can use their FreeMusicZilla program to capture and save the imeem content. http://www.freemusiczilla.com
2) Convert the flv (FLashVideo) file to an mp3 file. Without having to download any software you can use this site http://www.flv2mp3.com , you upload the .flv file to them, then you’ll simply download the newly converted file to your pc in mp3 format (looks like it’s 128bit).
