Vista, no sound from Line In?
I have connected an external CD player to my desktop. 2 RCA jacks at the back of CD player and 3.5 mm jack going to Line-In.
When I check the sound device manager it seems the system is registering the sound from player properly as I see the green bar and when I stop the player the green bar is gone.
My speaker works fine in general when I play MP3 files for example but I don’t get the sound coming from external device coming through Line-in ?
My system is based on Asus motherboard running Vista Ultimate OS.
line in could just be auto muted in your sound options. It happens a lot.
