Computer Directory Catalog?
Does anyone know of a program that can help me catalog a directory containing a bunch of mp3/cdg files? I need this program to be able to take the titles from the file name, with both the song and artist. The format of all of the file names is “(Song) – (Artist).mp3″ and, likewise, “(Song) – (Artist).cdg” for the cdg files. It would be nice to be able to have a program that can export to something like an excel file, but please post anything else that you find, please.
This solution is to use add-in cause Excel have no native function to do that easily

After download the xla file above, Go to menu tools, add-ins, browse and locate “listMp3Cdg.xla”, click ok button, a button will appear in the toolbar area,
To use it, click an cell on the sheet, click the button and choose the folder where the mp3 and cdg files locate, click ok button.
Then the list of song name will build from the cell selected with the artist name on its right.
